Buddhist Circuit With Taj 10 Nights And 11 Days
Buddhism is a world-known religion that arose in and around the ancient Kingdom of Magadha (now in Bihar, India), and it's based on the teachings of Siddhartha Gautama -"Buddha."
Buddhism spread outside of Magadha, starting in the Buddha's lifetime. In modern times, two major branches of Buddhism exist, the Theravada in Sri Lanka and Southeast Asia, and the Mahyna throughout the Himalayas and East Asia. Buddhism is one of the most common religion in the Himalayan areas such as Sikkim, Ladakh, Arunachal Pradesh, the Darjeeling hills in West Bengal, and Lahaul and Spiti areas of upper Himachal Pradesh. According to the 2001 census, Buddhists make up 0.8% of India's population or 7.95 million individuals.
Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival Delhi
Arrival at New Delhi International airport, assistance on arrival and transfer to Hotel.
Overnight hotel.
Day 2
Delhi / Lucknow (by Flight/Train) / Sravasti
Breakfast at the hotel and an hour drive to the airport to connect the flight for Lucknow.
On arrival, Lucknow transfer to hotel for Lunch, post-lunch drive to Sravasti (180 Kms, 4:30 hrs).
Arrival Sravasti and transfer to hotel.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3
Sravasti / Lumbini
After breakfast at the hotel, then visit Jetvanaram and Angulimal Caves. After lunch, drive to Lumbini (190 km, 5 - 6 hrs). Lumbini, Nepal.
Arrival Lumbini, transfer to hotel arrival & check-in.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4
Lumbini / Kushinagar
After breakfast at the hotel, then visit the birthplace of Lord Buddha.
Lunch at a restaurant.
Post lunch, 4-hours drive to Kushinagar (130 km).
On arrival at Kushinagar, transfer to Mahaparinirvana temple and Rambhar Stupa (Cremation centre).
Check-in hotel.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5
Kushinagar Patna via Vaishali
After breakfast at the hotel, 7 Hours drive to Patna (280 km) en-route, we will be visiting Vaishali.
Arrival & check-in the hotel.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6
Patna / Nalanda / Rajgir / Bodhgaya: After breakfast at the hotel, then drive to Nalanda (85 km) to visit the ruins of ancient world University. It was one of the oldest Universities of the World & International Centre for Buddhist Studies. Post lunch drive to Rajgir (15 kms) and visit Gridhkuta Peak (Vulture's peak), Venuvanaram and Bimbisara prison. Drive back to Bodhgaya. Arrival Bodhgaya (65 km), transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 7
Bodhgaya
Breakfast at the hotel. A Full day scheduled for sightseeings at Bodhgaya, visiting places like Mahabodhi temple, Sujata Village, Niranjana River.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 8
Bodhgaya / Varanasi
Breakfast at the hotel and a 4 hrs drive to Varanasi (250 km). On arrival, check-in at the hotel and then proceed to Sarnath (14 km).
Visit Dhamekha Stupa and Deer Park.
Back to Varanasi.
Check-in hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 9
Varanasi / Agra
Early morning boat excursion on the river Ganges, a ferry pilgrimage from ghat to ghat. People bathe early in the morning to offer prayers to the rising sun.
Then back to the hotel for breakfast.
Post breakfast, proceed to visit Varanasi city, temple, shopping in Varanasi.
Later that noon, transfer to Varanasi railway station for our onward connection to Agra with packed dinner.
Overnight in Train.
Day 10
Agra
Early morning arrival & transfer to the hotel.
Post refreshments and breakfast will proceed for sightseeing and visit one of the world's most famous monuments, the Taj Mahal (closed every Friday) built by Mughal Emperor Shah- Jehan for his Empress Mumtaj.
The construction believed to have taken 22 years to complete with over 20,000 artisans working round the clock. After lunch proceeds for sightseeing tour of magnificent Agra Fort- built at the bank of Yamuna river, is situated in the center of the town. Various styles of architecture are evident within the fort & demonstrate the love of Mughal Emperors towards architecture.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 11
Agra/Delhi Departure
Post breakfast, transfer to Delhi.
Post lunch, city tour of Delhi, visiting places like India Gate, the drive passes Parliament buildings and President's residence.
Dinner at a local restaurant.
Post dinner proceeds to connect the flight for onward destination.
Inclusion
Accommodation on Double / Twin Sharing Basis as Per Package Selected. Daily Breakfast.
All Sightseeing as per Itinerary.
All Transportation and Sightseeing by A/C Vehicle

Exclusion

Cost incidental to any change in the itinerary or stay on account of flight cancellation due to bad weather or ill health, or roadblocks and any factors beyond the control. Any services not mentioned in the inclusion list.

Nufly Tours reserve the right to modify the itinerary at any point of time, due to many reasons including but not limited to force majeure events, strikes, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, flights, cancellation (or) re-routing of flights, closure (or) entry restrictions at a place of a visit, etc. In the occurrence of any unfortunate events, we will do our best to make suitable alternate arrangements. (Note: We would not be held liable for any refunds/compensation claims arising out of this.)

For all disputes of whatsoever, nature relating to the tours marketed/coordinated by NUFLY Tours. The courts in the state of Tamil Nadu shall alone have jurisdiction, and the Laws of the Republic of India shall apply.
Cancellation
25 % of the package cost will be charged if cancelled before 20 days of the departure date.
50 % of the package cost if cancelled before 15 days of the departure date.
75 % of the package cost if cancelled before 8 days of the departure date.
No Refund to avail if cancelled before 7 days of the departure date.
