Mexico is a country between the U.S. and Central America that's known for its Pacific and Gulf of Mexico beaches and its diverse landscape of mountains, deserts, and jungles. Ancient ruins such as Teotihuacan and the Mayan city of Chichn It'S are scattered throughout the country, as are Spanish colonial-era towns. In capital Mexico City, upscale shops, renowned museums, and gourmet restaurants cater to modern life.

Itinerary

Day 1

Mexico City
TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS:  
  • Arrival.Welcome to Mexico.  
  • Transfer to hotel and free time.  
  • Our guide will contact you late in the afternoon or provide information through the informative panels in the hotel reception area

Day 2

Mexico City

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS: City tour of Mexico DF.  
  • Visit the BASILICA DE SANTA MARIA DE GUADALUPE and Xochimilco neighborhood. Evening transfer.
  • Today is a fantastic day to learn about Mexico. The comprehensive tour of the city and visit to the Square of the Three Cultures, the historic center with the Zocalo (Main Square) and Metropolitan Cathedral, the largest Aztec temple, Chapultepec Park, Paseo de la Reforma and the main avenues of this impressive city.
  • After the tour, we will visit the BASILICA DE SANTA MARIA DE GUADALUPE, which houses the Virgin of Guadalupe.  
  • This Catholic Church, which has the largest number of visitors in South America, is comprised of the ancient basilica of the 18th century and the modern church. In the afternoon, we will visit the neighborhood of XOCHIMILCO, a marvelous place that is filled with canals and semi-floating gardens; the visit includes a  trip in a trajinera a boat filled with flowers.  
  • In the evening, transfer to Plaza de GARIBALDI and its many cantinas restaurants and bars that serve tacos and tequila, accompanied by songs by Mariachis.

Day 3

Mexico City.-

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Discover yourself the charms of the city.
  • Free day in the city. We suggest you visit the anthropology museum and the picturesque neighborhood of Coyoacan.

Day 4

Mexico City- Janitzio- Morelia
Patzcuaro
TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS:  
  • Take a boat to the island of Janitzio. Pay a visit to Patzcuaro and its arts and craft
  • center.
  • Departure from Mexico City, amidst lush vegetation and arrival in the state of Michoac Visit to MORELIA, the splendid capital of Michoacan, declared a UNESCO
  • World Heritage Site, with its magnificent cathedral. Time for lunch and a stroll through the center. Then we continue to the beautiful Patzcuaro Lake, in the heart of the Puchepa region. We take a boat to the island of JANITZIO, where, after a 25-minute crossing,   we arrive at this picturesque town, filled with life and arts and crafts shops. Afterward, we pay a visit PATZCUARO, an attractive colonial town featuring the Basilica of Our Lady of Health and the House of the Eleven Patios, now an arts and crafts center. We will spend the night in this magical town

Day 5

Patzcuaro-Chapala-Ajijic

Guadalajara-Tlaquepaque

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS:  

  • Visit Chapala Lake and the prettiest town on it Ajijic.
  • Evening transfer to Tlaquepaque.
  • We leave for the state of Jalisco, paying a visit to Chapala Lake, the largest natural lake in Mexico, surrounded by mountains. CHAPALA, free time to wander around and have lunch in this small tourist resort next to the lake.  
  • Then we go on to AJIJIC, considered by many to be the prettiest town on the
  • lake, with its cobbled streets and art galleries.
  • Arrival at GUADALAJARA. In the late afternoon, transfer to the TLAQUEPAQUE neighborhood, with its interesting streets filled with stores and arts and craft shops, and supper at El Parana, a large square with many traditional restaurants, accompanied by the songs of the Mariachis.

Day 6

Guadalajara-Tequila  
Tonal- Guadalajara.-
TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS:
  • Visit Guadalajara and distillery Cuervo in Tequila (admission and tasting included).
  • In the morning, we visit Guadalajara, a modern city with its historical colonial center, cathedral, market and Tapat Square.
  •  After the visit, we leave for the nearby town of TEQUILA. The visit includes a visit to the
  • MUNDO CUERVO distillery to learn about the process for making the famous Mexican drink (admission and tasting session included). Free time to wander about and have lunch in the pretty town of Tequila.  
  • After lunch, we return to Guadalajara and visitors have time to explore TONALA and its impressive arts and crafts market.

Day 7

Guadalajara-Guanajuato
TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS:
  • Tour of Guanajuato including an ascent in the funicular.
  • The trip to the state of GUANAJUATO, arriving at noon.
  • In the afternoon, we take a tour of this attractive declared a world heritage site, and its steep, narrow streets and churches.  
  • The visit also includes an ascent on the funicular railway to admire the view from a pile

Day 8

Guanajuato- Dolores
Hidalgo- San Miguel de Allende-Atotonilco-
Queretaro
TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS
  •  Birthplace of the Mexican Independence. Visit a sanctuary, World Heritage Site.
  • Amidst mountains, we travel to DOLORES HIDALGO, the birthplace of Mexican independence. Afterward, we travel to SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE, a beautiful city with colonial architecture, cobbled streets, declared a World Heritage Site. Free time to wander about and have lunch. In the afternoon.
  • we will visit the Sanctuary of ATOTONILCO, a World Heritage Site known as the Sanctuary of God and Country. Then we reach QUERETARO, with its incredibly beautiful colonial center, Parade Square, bustling restaurants and pedestrian areas

Day 9

Queretaro- Tula- Huamantla -
Xalapa - Veracruz
TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS:  
  • A Toltec city. Observe a volcano an mountain landscapes.
  • Today we learn about the pre-Hispanic cultures of Mexico. In TULA, the most important Toltec city in Mexico, which flourished between 900 and 1200, we will visit the pyramids and Atlantis. We then continue to HUAMANTLA, a small town at the foot of the Malinche volcano, with its impressive square and colonial center. Free time to explore and have lunch.   We then continue our journey, amidst impressive mountain landscapes, to the Gulf of Mexico.
  • Arrival at VERACRUZ at the end of the day, and a stroll along the waterfront.

Day 10

Veracruz-Tlacotalpan-

Santiago Tuxtla- San Andres Tuxtla  

Catemaco.-

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS:  

  • Sea landscapes. Boat trip in Catemaco Lake to see shamans and witch doctors.
  • Today the marine landscapes of the Gulf of Mexico accompany us on our route. Visit TLACOTALPAN, a small coastal town and World Heritage Site that appears frozen in time. Most of its houses date from the 18th century. We stop at SANTIAGO TUXTLA. Its main square hosts the largest Olmec colossal head in Mexico.  
  • SAN ANDRES TUXTLA is the center of the tobacco-producing region, and here we pay a visit to the Santa Clara cigar factory. Arrival at CATEMACO at lunchtime. In the afternoon, we will take a boat trip on the beautiful Catemaco Lagoon, the meeting place of local shamans and witch doctors, stopping in the reserve of Nanciyaga and passing the Island of the Monkeys.

Day 11

Catemaco- Villahermosa   Yumka-
Palenque.-
TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS:  
  • We visit an open-air museum and a zoo. And discover the numerous species of an ecological reserve.
  • Departure for the state of Tabasco. In Villahermosa, we visit LA VENTA MUSEUM PARK, a fascinating open-air museum that provides information about the Olmec culture, and its zoo, which houses animals native to the region. Afterward, we continue to YUMKA, on the outskirts of Villahermosa, an ecological reserve with howler monkeys, jaguars, parrots, and other species. We then continue our journey to Palenque, where we arrive in the late afternoon.

Day 12

Palenque- Misol Ha- Agua

Azul   San Crist bal de las Casas.-

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS:  

  • Guided visit of an archaeological. Enjoy the impressive landscapes of the National Park of Agua Azul.
  • In the morning, we visit the impressive archaeological site of PALENQUE, accompanied by a local guide.
  • This Mayan city, set in the jungle, reached its apogee between 600 and 800 A.D. We will visit its temples, pyramids and watch a ball game. Then we continue our journey to the spectacular MISOL HA waterfall and walk along the path behind it. We will also enter the AGUA AZUL National Park where we can have lunch and see its 50 and more waterfalls of between 3 and 30 meters in height. Then we continue through the green mountainous area of Chiapas towards SAN CRISTOBAL DE LAS CASAS, where we arrive in the late afternoon.

Day 13

Catemaco- Villahermosa   Yumka-
Palenque
TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS:

Day 14

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS:  

  • We visit impressive canyon with amazing views in a motor launch.
  • Visit the SUMIDERO CANYON in a motor launch.
  • This impressive canyon is almost 1 km deep and 14 m long. Afterward, we will have the chance to admire the canyon from the viewpoints, with its jagged walls.
  • Free time for lunch in TUXTLA, the bustling capital of Chiapas, with its busy civic square. In the afternoon, we continue to Santo Domingo Tehuantepec. Supper and accommodation.

Day 15

Tehuantepec- El Tule

Oaxaca- Monte Alb

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS:

Mountains landscapes. Guided tour of a Zapotec city.

  • We leave Tehuantepec early in the morning. Our journey  takes us through the mountains to SANTA MARIE ELTULE. Next to its pretty church is one of the oldest trees in the world, which has been there for two thousand years. We reach OAXACA at lunchtime. In the afternoon, accompanied by a local guide, we visit MONTE ALBAN, set on a mountain of 400 m overlooking Oaxaca Valley, and the most important Zapotec city in Mexico. Free time in the beautiful colonial city of Oaxaca, with its busy parade square and the impressive church of San Domingo

Day 16

Oaxaca- Puebla- Cholula-

Mexico City.-

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS:  

  • We visit Puebla and the picturesque Cholula.
  • We leave Oaxaca in the morning. PUEBLA is the fourth most important city in Mexico. It has an attractive historical center and streets lined with churches and old buildings. Free time to explore and have lunch. Early in the afternoon, we visit the picturesque city of CHOLULA, with its pretty square, pyramid, and tunnels beneath it, and the attractive sanctuary of Nuestra Senora de Los Remedios, which offers a panoramic view.  
  • Then we continue to Mexico City, arriving there late in the afternoon.

  • Nufly Tours reserve the right to modify the itinerary at any point of time, due to many reasons including but not limited to force majeure events, strikes, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, flights, cancellation (or) re-routing of flights, closure (or) entry restrictions at a place of a visit, etc. In the occurrence of any unfortunate events, we will do our best to make suitable alternate arrangements.   • For all disputes of whatsoever, nature relating to the tours marketed/coordinated by NUFLY Tours. The courts in the state of Tamil Nadu shall alone have jurisdiction, and the Laws of the Republic of India shall apply.

Cancellation

  • 25 % of the package cost will be charged if cancelled before 20 days of the departure date.

  • 50 % of the package cost if cancelled before 15 days of the departure date.

  • 75 % of the package cost if cancelled before 8 days of the departure date.

  • No Refund to avail if cancelled before 7 days of the departure date.
