Gujarat Pilgrimage With Wildlife Tour 9 Nights and 7 Days

Gujarat, India's westernmost state, has varied terrain and numerous sacred sites. In its urban center of Ahmedabad is the Calico Museum of Textiles, displaying antique and modern Indian fabrics. Spiritual leader Mahatma Gandhi's base from 1917-1930 was Sabarmati Ashram, where his living quarters remain on view. The Jama Masjid (Friday Mosque), built in the 15th century, has a vast courtyard and a columned design.

Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival at Jamnagar and Proceed to Dwarka.

  • Arrive at Jamnagar and proceed to Dwarka (150 km - 4 hours). Visit Dwarkadheesh Temple in the evening. 

  • Dwarkadhish Temple is one of the most significant and visited Lord Krishna Temples in India.

  • Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2

Temple visits in and around Dwarka. Proceed to Somnath.

  • After breakfast, visit Okha for the Beyt Dwarka. 

  • Beyt Dwarka is an island accessible over a short boat ride where a prominent Lord Krishna Temple is located. 

  • Upon return, visit Nageshwar Mahadev Temple en route. 

  • Nageshwar temple is believed to be one of the 12 Jyotirlinga Temples. Visit Rukmini Devi Temple, Gomati Ghat Temples, after returning to Dwarka. 

  • Travel to Somnath (240 km - 4.5 hours). Enroute stopover at the Harsiddh Mata temple, offering excellent views of the Arabian Sea. Reach Somnath by evening.

  • Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 3

Somnath Temple visit. Travel to Diu. Evening beach visit.

  • After breakfast, visit Somnath Temple, a renowned Shiva Temple and considered one of the 12 Jyotirlinga Temples and one of the most visited Shiva Temples in India. 

  • Time permitting visit Bhalka Teerth. 

  • Travel to Diu (90 km - 2 hours).Diu, an erstwhile Portuguese Colony and now a popular beach getaway. Evening visit to the Nagoa beach. 

  • Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4

Sightseeing and activities around Diu

  • After breakfast, sightseeing around Diu includes Nagoa Beach, St. Paul's Church, Diu Museum, Diu Fort. Watersports include Para Sailing, water skiing, water scooter, Family boat and speed boats are on offer at Ahmadpur Mandvi beach. 

  • Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 5

Travel to Sasan Gir via Somnath. Evening Safari in Sasan Gir.

  • After breakfast, proceeds to Sasan Gir (120 km - 3 hrs). Sasan Gir is the only abode of Asiatic Lions and considered excellent for bird watching. 

  • The park checklist has 250 birds, and about 50 other species (including the endangered lesser florican and the Saras crane) are recorded in the grasslands along the periphery of the sanctuary. 

  • Evening Safari in Gir. 

  • Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 6

Morning and Evening Safari at Sasan Gir

  • Sasan Gir has the number of areas/wetlands that offer excellent Bird watching opportunities. 

  • Undertake safaris (morning and evening) for exploring different areas of the park. Kamleshwar Dams are home to Crocodiles.

  •  Lion sighting is generally good all through the year. 

  • Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 7

Departure

  • After breakfast departure to Rajkot (160 km - 3 hours) and proceed to onward journey.

Inclusion

  • Accommodation on Double / Twin Sharing Basis as Per Package Selected. Daily Breakfast.

  • All Sightseeing as per Itinerary.  

  • All Transportation and Sightseeing by A/C Vehicle  

  • All permit fees & hotel taxes (as per itinerary).

Exclusion

  • Any personal expenses or optional tours.

  • Any extra meals ordered.  

  • Tips, Insurance, Laundry, Porterage, and Phone calls.  

  • Any Drinks (Alcoholic, Mineral, Aerated) excluded from the package.  

  • Cost incidental to any change in the itinerary or stay on account of flight cancellation due to bad weather or ill health, or roadblocks and any factors beyond the control.  

  • Any services not mentioned in the inclusion list.

  • Booking rates are subject to change without prior notice.

  • All transfers and sightseeing shall be provided by an exclusive vehicle unless otherwise specified.

  • Tour-programme is subject to change depending upon circumstances.    

  • Nufly Tours reserve the right to modify the itinerary at any point of time, due to many reasons including but not limited to force majeure events, strikes, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, flights, cancellation (or) re-routing of flights, closure (or) entry restrictions at a place of a visit, etc. In the occurrence of any unfortunate events, we will do our best to make suitable alternate arrangements. (Note: We would not be held liable for any refunds/compensation claims arising out of this.)

  • The cost of deviation and extension of your ticket validity is not included in the package.

  • For all disputes of whatsoever, nature relating to the tours marketed/coordinated by NUFLY Tours. The courts in the state of Tamil Nadu shall alone have jurisdiction, and the Laws of the Republic of India shall apply.

Cancellation

  • 25 % of the package cost will be charged if cancelled before 20 days of the departure date.

  • 50 % of the package cost if cancelled before 15 days of the departure date.

  • 75 % of the package cost if cancelled before 8 days of the departure date.

  • No Refund to avail if cancelled before 7 days of the departure date.
